About

Hello. I'm Akiko, a real estate agent focused on Los Angeles and Orange County. I work at Person Realty, Inc., the largest Japanese American real estate firm in the United States with over 39 years of experience. I aim to help clients achieve their housing wishes and dreams while navigating the real estate market.

I have worked in Japan and the United States for over 19 years, pairing residential and commercial spaces with natural scents that match the image, style, and brand. Through thousands of projects, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing a wide variety of architectural styles and spaces, with the common goal of making the spaces comfortable and engaging for the people who gather there. With this concept in mind, I communicated with clients without losing momentum and incorporated my experience and knowledge to fulfill their vision. The skills and attitude towards work I learned during those years remain significant pillars of my career.

Although my career began in the interior design and real estate industries through the use of scent and spatial design, an unexpected opportunity in 2020 introduced me to residential remodeling projects.

From demolition to roofing, flooring, window and door replacement, tile installation, electrical and plumbing work, and appliance installation, I had the opportunity to experience many aspects of the renovation process firsthand. Along the way, I gained practical knowledge about construction costs, project workflows, and the countless details that can only be learned through hands-on experience.

As a result, I developed the ability to view a home from three different perspective - creating it, improving it, and ultimately bringing it to market. This perspective continues to be one of the greatest assets in my real estate career.

When I moved to Los Angeles in 2015, I did not know anyone, but I am where I am now because of the support of the people I have met. Now, it is my turn to give back to the people around me and the community.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions about real estate. I am excited to hear from you.
